I live in a rural area with no gyms. What's the best kind of equipment I can buy that's relatively cheap? I'm looking for just upper body gains mostly.

Jesus Christ, I live in bumfuck nowhere and still got two gyms within like ten miles of me. But yeah, get a pull-up bar and dip station. Couple that with push-ups, sit-ups, and any other improvised equipment you'll do alright.

Don't listen to bodyweight memelords, get a bench and a barbell with a rack and some adjustable dumbbells. Powercage not necessary if you dont care about legs.
