What helps you lift? Is it a person, an achievement? Who's your inspiration? Mine is Donald J Trump, savior of the west.
I know this is supposed to be funny, but I used to listen to speeches from Trump / Hillary when I would lift at my home gym. Trump was a lot more motivating hands down.
Honestly though, motivation is overrated. Dedication is what makes people change.

I spotted that anon and he thanked me, he said Donald thank you, and this is terrific.
"I have to say, it's awfully good Donald Trump isn't in charge of lifting in this country..."

"Donald J. Trump is calling for a total shutdown of Crossfitters entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure what in the hell is going on"

You are so right anon. If you need to "pump yourself up" to work out you don't really want to do it. It has to be a lifestyle change. Something natural, not an obligation. However I also find the resurgence of conservative values a hope in the fight against muslims, feminists, sjw's and BLM. I dream about a future in which true masculinity and feminity will be valued.
