Why my thighs hurt when I try to reach my toes? What can I do to get more flexible?

The front or the back? Quads or hamstrings? I have extremely tight hams myself (struggle to sit with my back upright and legs straight out in front of me) and all you can do is try to be more aware of your posture and eliminate any pelvic tilt when walking or sitting that will make your hip flexors and backs of your legs lock up. Try to envision your body 'hinging' at the hip rather than bending your back or do hamstring stretches with one leg bent first so you know what full extension feels like. Find a ballet barre and slowly extend your raised leg further and straighter away from you whilst keeping the standing leg and your hips straight/square

do yoga 2x/week for about an hour
Not op but i have the same problem and i try to stretch 2x maybe more a week i'm it'll pay off
