I've had it for a couple of years i went to the doctor and had a scan on it and found out what the problem was as long as it wasn't cancer i didn't care.
Back then cumming released the pressure but if i went a day and a half without sex or jerking off the pain in my balls was unbearable.
I ended up with depression because of unrelated issues and almost after the first dose of antidepressants the pain was gone completely i can go days without jerking and only do it for the fun now.

Some have apparently had luck taking horse chestnut extract to reduce varicocele. I've been trying it for a month, and mines about 3/4 the size it used to be, but idk if it will be permanent and it's not a huge change anyways. Could be worth trying if your vericocele is not severe enough for surgery though, the supp is pretty cheap.
