hey anons, is it possible to make gains by NOT working with dumbells? i'm asking this because there are alot of machines for each party of the body in my gym, and im wondering if i could use them instead. theyre much more comfortable to work on

You need compound exercises that work multiple muscle groups, machines are supposed to be used for isolation.

Isolation exercises are really only good for targeting weak points. You bench, but have terrible triceps? Get on that tricep machine. Is a tricep machine a thing? Probably, but I have never seen one.
