Is high protein bad for the liver?
>>
There is no evidence to say there is

Yes.

Proceed to eat excessive amounts of sugar and alcohol instead.

you should try to cut protein out of your diet completely to protect your liver. all of these people pushing protein are just from big proton trying to jew you out of your hard earned cash. look how strong elephants get and they are vegetarian.

It's not the liver that's the problem. It's the kidneys.
Our kidneys are just not as efficient at filtering out uric acid as pure carnivores. Too much protein -> Gout/Kidney stones
>>
Unless you have problems, it's fine.
Same with sodium. Unless you have high blood pressure, sodium is fine.

You get excess uric acid from adenosine breakdown caused by either eating too much sugar or exercise.

Adenosine is a component of proteins, you mong. It's going to be broken down regardless because your body is not going to just discard it after you already ate it.

What the fuck are you faggots arguing about?
None of this is a problem if you drink ample amounts of water.
Filtration is nearly 100% getting it out of your system via piss.
If you're not peeing clear daily, you will have a buildup of toxic chemicals and minerals.
A high protein diet is not enough to prevent the filtration process if you're drinking water.

I only read that there's some damage if you eat a high protein meal right after fasting for 24-48 hours.
