Just out of curiousity, does anyone here tuck in the back of their shirt when they are in the gym? I'm not saying tucking your shirt in completely, just the back like pic related? I've been doing this for years, and as of lately I've noticed a lot of guys in the fitness community doing it. It may be trivial, but I've always done it because it keeps my shirt tighter around my waist and makes it look smaller when I lift.
The bigger guys on here should know what I'm talking about, when you were a Tshirt and it sits baggy around your waist because your frame is so much wider than your waist, so it makes you look kinda fat? That's why I tuck in the back of my Tshirt. Anybody else do this?
Tldr; do you tuck in your shirt when you lift? Specifically just in the back?
"look fat"
you wont look fat unless you're
-actually fat

Not fat, I put that wrong, but it almost takes away from the how small your waist is. Like look at the dude on the left in a regular t shirt. Yeah he has big arms but he would look even that much more impressive if his t shirt was fitted along his waist

What if I'm in the process of losing fat but cripplingly insecure?

I do it, but only if my tshirt is over sized or got stretched. It looks goofy when it sits too loose on your waist
I am too self conscious about my butt to tuck my shirt in. My shirt even naturally collect itself on the shelf that is my butt. Its way to big and way to perky for a guy. My butt is better than most women.
I tuck it in particularly when doing back and legs, so I don't show off any crack
