how does /fit/ exercise their discipline, so as not to lose those precious inner gains?

Well my weaknesses when it comes to /fit/ discipline is food. To cover up I study dishes that could be substituted for healthier alternatives.
For example I make an omelet pizza is pretty much just chesse + egg for crust with a dab of tomato sauce. Because I am a cheese addict, I can keep the hunger down by using it as my weekly cheat meal. I also have a monthly cheat sugar meal like a pie or something.
I do research into sauces and don't add them into my diet calculations unless it is obvious heavy shit like bbq. But simple stuff like bufflo sauce, hot sauce, etc gets used in gobs.
Don't buy fatty food.
When tempted to engage in free food at work, just look around the office and see that 80% of the coworkers around are ungodly overweight.
Finally and most important. When deciding to cheat make sure it is top notch shit. That means not just going to shits a hut for a crap pizza. Being a fast food snob makes me highly picky and able to fend off grabbing shit I see in the deli section.
