After chronic and frequent tonsilitis, strep, and never-ending tonsil stones, I am finally getting my tonsils removed
I'm 25.
What should I expect? What was your experience?
I'm reading different recommendations on food/diet during recovery. UK/A US say a regular diet. USA says soft/liguid diet
I dint want to lose my gains. I want a quick recovery so I can move on with my life.

Tonsil bump
Also, how bad is the pain, seriously? Is taking more than the recommended dose of pain medication a bad idea?

Pain isn't that bad, or wasn't for me at least. I had pills left after I was completely recovered.
>Taking more than the recommended dose of anything is bad. If the pain gets too severe consult your doctor to get a new recommended dose or alternate medication.

How long were you actually down and out? I'm trying to arrange my operation and get time off from work.
