Look at any proven popular program (SS, SL, TM, 531, PHUL, PHAT, ...) and it's either going to be a fullbody program, an upper/lower split or built around the 3 or 4 basic lifts (OHP)/Bench/Squat/Deadlift.
I agree that PPL is a meme and is mostly done by people who think more days per week training means more gains, but the approach of Chest/Back/Leg days is retarded as well.
