so how fast should i run normally? literally everywhere says "lol conversational pace xD" but that would probably be a literal crawl for me

i run for 45 minutes 3 times a week starting at 9min mile and it gradually slows to 10.5 min mile pace towards the end and this isn't conversational pace i mean i'm actually trying to run and gasping the whole way because how else would i ever improve?

i'm willing to bet i wouldn't improve by slowing down and """jogging""" 20 minute miles

i'm a hungry skellington not fatty btw

Buy the book Daniel's Running Formula. Enter a timed 5k and run it hard. If you don't run a negative split do at least one more to get a more accurate picture of your fitness. Follow the book like it's the Bible. Boom, you're done.
