How come when I do pullups I never feel it in my lats?
After a 5x5 of regular wide grip pullups with pretty decent form, my arms forearms and shoulders seem to be more sore than my lats, how come?
Does it mean I'm not hitting the lats right?

Found your problem.
Chinups, hammer grip chinups or neutral grip pull ups give the biggest stretch of the lats and create the biggest range of motion for them. Therefore they let you feel it more in them.
