I've been doing pull-ups and both of my wrists hurt. What am I doing wrong?
Not keeping a neutral wrist.
Your wrists shouldn't be moving at all

warm up your wrists before. do some wrists circles and tilts

>pull-up-under-hand-grip
Isn't that just a chin up?
>>39291791
chin ups are the same shit as pull ups. there is a hardly any difference in lat usage between the two. chin ups use more biceps though
>>39291620
Strengthen your wrist first for some time with lighter exercise like inverted rows.
Same logic of training push ups before dips.
>>39291822
Unless you hit that super wide grip
>>39291625
Can you elaborate? Keep your wrists neutral relative to what?
>>39292921
Not that anon but you should focus on engaging your back. Your palms are just there as a hook. Don't move it. Don't bend it. Just hold the bar naturally. Try just letting your hand hang down. Is your wrist bent in any way? That's the neutral position
Chinups are easy as fuck
If you seriously think doing chinups and pullups are the same then kys
>>39291620
Too much rotation.
>>39291620
Other anons have given good advice.
I'd say ice your wrists and rest until the pain is fully gone. I've had wrist pain in the past that got worse because I was an idiot and kept working out.

read the fucking sticky!
there is info about stretching and warming up, before working out, in there

They should be in line with your arms, basically don't use them at all.
