>I don't understand people that do a push pull split
basically they do all pressing movements one day and then the follow day they do all pulling movements
effectively they can work out 7 days a week

what's to understand about them or not?
doing all push one day, all pull another makes sense, no?

I know, I do (or at least did until law school took my life and skull fucked it) a push pull split. I was talking to a some faggot, (even though he is gay that's not why he's a faggot he's a faggot because he is an annoying, know it all little bitch) that just started lifting this year and thinks hes hot shit. He said that exact quote. I told him you do push movements, and then you do pull movements. He said it seemed counter intuitive and isolating one muscle of your body was easier. Since I didn't feel like talking more about working out with a guy who a few weeks before "you don't need a squat rack, the gym has a smyth machine which is even better because its safer" I just dropped it and left.
Working a muscle group 2x a week is far better for gains than once a week, and a push/pull or upper/lower is the only way I can fit that in. Plus it's kinda fun

This isn't reddit you don't need to be a faggot here.

Bro split is the only way to get actually shredded, lifting for strength is a meme.

How you should progress in splits until your natty limit.
Full body > Upper/lower > push/pull/legs > chest/back, delts/arms, legs > chest, back, shoulders, legs, arms

Hol up are you saying that full body is the greatest value of all those or where you should begin. In other words are you using the > symbol mathmatically or as a generic arrow. Just 2b clear
>>39288284
r u down syndrome?
It's where you should begin _because_ it has the greatest value to beginners who can recover fast enough.
>>39288284
He's saying this is the progression of routines you should do.
As you get bigger you gain less benefit from working a muscle more time per week.
When you're approaching your natural limit there is very little benefit to 2x per week rather than 1x so you do a bro split to get control over proportions.
This is why every roider does a bro split.
