What Did I Injure?

God I'm retarded.

Anyway, whenever I bench now a muscle or tendon or something in my right arm/shoulder pops out of place. It hurts so I can't continue benching, plus I'm sure its a sign that something's wrong.
Is this the infamous rotator cufd injury? I ask because it feels like my upper arm more than anything. Regardless, how do I fix it so I can bench again?

Also it pops back into place between reps.

Probably a subluxated shoulder. How long have you been lifting for?
>>
>>39284126
It sounds like you injured your right shoulder.
>>
Anyone know if a winging scapula can cause this?? Could be a winged scapula op

About a year, and for much of it I've been touching my chest too high.
The popping has only been a couple weeks now, though
>>

>shoulder pops out mid set
>keeps going through set

You have brain damage anon

Touching your chest too high sounds exactly like the problem. When you bench press, your upper arms should not be parallel to the bar -- bench pressing with a 90 degree angle between your upper arm and your torso will put all the pressure on the articular capsule of the humerus, which is very loose. Not only will you lift less and with worse form, but you will also make less progress and risk injury.
