Blue de Chanel for spring/summer.
Clearly far superior to your 1 million meme

Frederic Malle: Musc Ravageur (by far most compliments, insanely longlasting yet subtle)

L'Artisan Parfumeur: Dzing (rarely)
Tom Ford: Tobacco Vanille

Creed: Aventus
Heeley: Sel Marin

Similar to what I got too. I chose it because it's what the old Armenian lady in Nordstrom showed me first
The only compliments I got on it were from men and a black girl in a shoe store
Green Irish Tweed (Spring/Summer) and Tobacco Vanille (late Fall/Winter).
Aqva and Burberry London if I'm just being casual that day.
Best one i ever had
>>39282516

>tfw male
>tfw enjoy wearing shit like YSL Black Opium or TF Black Orchid
L'Homme, Yves Saint Laurent.
Armani code.
I get tons of compliments on how good I smell.
Stop being insecure about your sexuality and start wearing some nice perfume you like and that fits you. Ps: deodorant is definitely NOT acceptable as a fragrance, plebs.
>>39282516
You better be under 20, OP
>>39284162
It's a mating aid for the new male.
While you or I rely on being attractive, interesting, and having a sense of purpose in life and confidence, the new male must rely on disgusting smelling crap to seem desireable to women (PS: It doesn't work)
The new male also needs to use stuff like instagram and twitter to meet women because he is too insecure and shy to simply say hello and strike up a conversation with girls that he finds cute when he's out and about
>>39283599
I picked up some of that recently it was on sale. Had no idea what to expect but it seems nice for fall/winter

>>39282516
Lacoste l.12.12. The white has a nice woody smell and is fairly subtle, the red is spicer and is good at night.
I don't know what the hell people are recommending Burberry for, I bought some Burberry Brit off Woot and it smelled like straight baby powder.
>>39284433
This is your scent

I don't put my faith in false chemicals because I am simply more enlightened than you.

We sell that at work. I've always wanted to take a fedora/euphoria pic and post it but I never have both at the same time.
I'm not kidding, it's fantastic but expensive.
For every day at the office I wear Versace's Eau Fraiche. It's cheap and very good.
I'm not straight though, your mileage may vary I've had both girls and boys tell me I smell really good.

>>39283985
Only complaint that I have is that Artisan fades pretty fast
Gotta do an extra spritz on the upper chest
Still not bad, better than smelling like youre drowning in it
If I have a need for a stronger and long lasting fragrance I use La Nuit de l`Homme Yves Saint Laurent or Carolina Herrera 212.
I like Hugo Boss XY the most and use it on days on which I go to the gym or just want a lighter frag. I have two bottles of it, so I keep one in my gym bag and one at home. This and Eau de Lacoste L.12.12. are the ones that my gf likes the most, but I'm not really into the scent of Lacoste - it also dosen't last long and seems too much of a teenager scent.
I also have some random frags I have picked up on the way: CK One, Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger and Lanvin L'homme SPORT. The former being too generic and the latter making people ask questions like "are you doing some remodeling in your house? You smell like gasoline."
I also like Armani Emporio He but that's rather expensive for me and too overpowering, which would not play well with my character.

>>39285728
I wore one million a couple of years ago. It got alot of compliments, but too many douchebags wear it, so it gets a kind of a bad rep. It's very strong and long-lasting though.
>>39283624
amazon reviews gave it five stars, looked only a little shilly. also fuck you and your pretentious fragrance taste
I don't have a reason to wear it often, but I get a lot of compliments and questions about it.
My only qualms is that the base notes fall away pretty quick (comparatively.)
>>39284547
The sense of smell is the one closest linked to memory. If you have a unique sillage, people will remember you and your personality better.

>Oud in the summer
>>39282516
I have maybe 10 bottles, mostly tester bottles but I wear only like 2 of them
+ odorless antiperspirant
it's pretty neutral but classy
What's some good cologne that smells like forests and wood and stuff?
>>39286613
Look for ones with Oud/agarwood, bergamot, nutmeg, vetiver, labdanum, cypress.
Best suggestion is find a place with testers because some 'woodsy' fragrances just smell like dirt.
>>39282516
I just recently copped this.
It's a pretty classy scent, but initial spray doesn't smell that good.

Been using Blue de Chanel for a good while now. I get compliments on my scent fairly often. I'm a retail wagecuck uni student, so I'm working with various people all day every day. At least once a day I get some sort of compliment. Even had guys ask what I was wearing (no homo of course).
I'll look into the other ones you posted, since we have similar tastes and fall is here.
>>39283098

Plebeians
all of you
How do you properly use a decent cologne? Do you buy a cheap non-scented antipersperant and apply that and then use a bit of cologne and dab it on ur neck and wrists? How to do this properly?
Recently picked up pic related. Would like to hear what y'all niggas think.

http://www.artofmanliness.com/2015/10/14/guide-to-fragrance/
This is a good start. Picking a good cologne is going to require going into stores and sampling them. Most of the workers there are young women, so don't be afraid to ask what they like the most. Dont get conned into buying the most expensive thing, just get their personal opinion. It's helpful.
>>39282516
depends what for
>hugo boss for work
>christian dior mens for formal occasions
>davidoff cool water for weekends/leisure
>ungaro III after sport, since its strong and cheap as fuck
>CK one for afternoon/evenings
i probably dont need so many, but i like choices
>>39289828
I like Davidoff cool water better
I've been getting this shit every Christmas for like 10 years and have been using it.
>>39286417
Great for summer or sporty/active nightlife occasions.
>>39289828
gimmcky as fuck.
cool water is the only decent davidoff scent, tried and tested since its also one of the oldest.
>>39289806
max 2 sprays, one to your neck/shirt area from about 30cm away so you get a even spread.
another spray to your wrist and rub them together. some say rubbing them isnt really good since thn you fudge your skin oils into the scent and instead you should opt for 2 half sprays with one on each wrist but im lazy.
as for what to do prior i no longer use antiperspirants and instead use talc powder. but personal preference i guess.
antipespirants dont matter too much if its scented as long as its not overwealming and you only use it on your armpits.
>>39288304
if the mainstream stores dont carry it, its probably not very good. go for tried and tested scents. i.e. ones that are old as fuck.
an example would be the original hugo boss. its been around since 1998 and its still doing well in the current market.
>>39289843
Ok just finished reading that article. Very informative thanks. But from what I understand colognes don't stop you from sweating etc. So should I also look into antipersperant rollons in the same flavor?
Inb4 stop being a sweaty fat shit. I live in a hot country.
>>39289843
>Don’t kill the note. Rubbing the perfume into the skin seems a sensible thing to do. In reality, it breaks the molecular bond, making the scent weaker.
>rubbing your wrist so hard you break molecular bonds
>>39289939
The general consensus is that you want to avoid using other strong scents that will conflict or become overwhelming when combined with cologne use.
That includes strong scented body washes and deodorants. I live in a hot place too, so I usually use this relatively weak scented but powerful sport antiperspirant.
>>39289962
Ya it's broscience as fuck but the point is that you dont want to rub it off your skin.
>>39288808
These smell fucking awfull. Had to throw it away like two days after
>>39282736
Cdg is meme fashion
>>39289962
>>39290012
It's not broscience
Fragrances have low boiling points, so ensure they 'give off' throughout the day
Friction increases temperature (consider pain starts at around 43 degrees - so you can cause a temperature of at least that by rubbing your hands together), and hence causes the scent to boil off quicker
>>39288204
Switch the left out for the light/tan version and we are two of the same.
