Fucked my lower back today lads. Did a dropset of bench press followed by incline DB presses, then it was onto rows. The powerracks were taken, so I did some machine crunches while waiting because that's about the only time I can be bothered to do ab work. During the crunches my lower back started to feel kinda painful (it did on the bench press too, but not as much), and when I finally got ready to do rows, I couldn't because it hurt too much. Could do all the other stuff, but Skullcrushers really made my back hurt too (lifting while laying down fucks me).
Is this just a bad day, or am I fucked? anyone experienced this?

Bumping

I hurt my back when I was doing construction and since then every lift hurts my back

It's been about a year of no deadlifting or squatting.. I can't even leg press.

Anyone who has had this problem please talk to us, although I feel that the only suggestion will be stretching.

had that too, lad. You just gotta try to shift the weight evenly between the fingers and get the bar as close to the palm as you can. I know it builds callous, but it doesn't hurt as much. Also try to train your grip, it's my biggest weakness on the diddlies too.

Can't speak from experience, but I have a friend who fucked his back lifting and had to leave squats and diddlies for 1+ years. Physical therapist helped him out, seek medical help

it helps just trying to hold onto the bar for as long as you can when at the top of your last diddly rep or when shrugging too, it helped me at least.
