I am a huge carb fiend and sugar is my biggest diet saboteur. I live with my diabetes as fuck grandma who constantly stocks on cookies and candy and crap. I don't drink soda, even when it's around. I don't drink juice or sugary drinks of any sort aside from milk.
But er ma gerd. I find it extremely difficult to keep a low intake of carbs/sugar when it's always around.
I lost 100 lbs at one point and got to a nice size. I've gained 40 back in the last two years. I am done with my AA so I finally have the time to diet, sleep, and work out properly, but managing carb & sugar intake is a major challenge for me.
Aside from moving out, which I am ready to do in a couple months,

I'd say transition to sugar-free shit to help you satisfy your sweet tooth, then taper off the sugar-free shit. After two or three weeks of no sweet things, your palate will adapt to taste the natural sweetness in shit like celery and bell peppers, and the cravings go away. Keep at it, bro. We're all gonna make it.

Solid advice. I know fake sugars aren't all that good but you're right that they're probably a good transitioning agent.
Thanks!

> Natural sweetness in celery
Yeah that will replace donuts
just don't buy these things, don't even look at them in supermarkets, don't watch TV ads etc
when you don't see the object of your "desire", you don't really crave it as much
for example i didn't have any particular food neds today until i saw your pic, now i really want a donut
Go cold turkey and once you get over that initial bump you'll find it a lot easier. Chew a shit ton of gum and drink a lot of black coffee
If you can't get over that bump, ween yourself off it by having 90% cocoa dark chocolate every so often to satiate you
Once you get off it for a while eating that sugary shit again will make you sick

By being a mature adult and not deliberately poisoning yourself to feed your craving for crap no one should eat a lot of anyway?
just do noSugar
you'll make mad confidence gains

Protein shakes, yogurt/kefir and protein bakery with lots of artificial sweeteners. You can't overdo it and it will satisfy your sweet tooth.
