Why not both? I feel at home here, and I feel at home socialising at parties. I don't want to have one of my favourite places disappear because some greedy jap ran it into the ground.

I've been around here off and on since 2008. Moot has always run this site at a loss, or breaking even at best, which is probably one of the reasons he sold it off. It'll never be profitable because nobody wants to pay to be here, or to be literally doxxed in order to be here. It was different when it was small with few users, but it reached a point I remember where it was so fucking slow all the time that it either had to expand or die. So it expanded, but that meant higher overhead costs to keep it running. Ad sales alone aren't enough, especially since 4chan has a bad reputation with the general public so many potential advertisers don't want to be associated with it.

We get to finally experience life
Fuck this shithole

That's not true. Before he left he said that 4chan was doing fine, and was able to survive for at least a few years before anything would have to be done. Hiro's fucked this place up in a year and a half. Also, Moot didn't leave because he was in debt, he left because he wanted to move on with his life.

hiroyuki is a fucking money hungry faggot, fuck him.
he's being a whiny bitch because he wants everyone buying that stupid pass
that faggot is knee deep in debt and wants easy money, as we all can see from malicious adware infesting this fucking place

Lol. You'll find something else to replace this, if you really could stop you would've done it by now
