who here /classical/ while lifting here?
that might be nice. I'm a fan of slow, depressing music at the gym.

used to get beethoven's 9th mvt 2 when benching, got me through the sticking points, and there was this concerto for strings by haydn or something that was so cheery it turned diddlys from this massive pull into a whimsical exercise (and was a good break from shitty pop mixes the gym always plays)
then I lost my ipod and now just stick through it with no tunes. Not gonna buy another, would prefer an mp3 player
>Chopin's fantasy Impromptu ramping up near those last two reps
Best feel

If you need music to distract you from lifting then get out of my gym.
Only before studying or when I want to relax or be comfy
when lifting I need my fast and agressive music, like megadeth and metallica first album

>unironically listening to music while doing other things
Philistine.

Elsa's procession to the cathedral, by Wagner. The last minute or so is grand and powerful. The low brass sounds fucking amazing, ive broken countless PRs just replaying the piece from the 5 mimute mark. it gets LOUD.

If the only associate music with distraction, then get out of my humanity.
