Hey /fit/, I am moving soon and that means I need to find a new gym. There are a few gyms that will be nearby to me: The Edge, LA Fitness, and Anytime Fitness.
Any recommendations?
The Edge is $20/mo I think
LA Fitness is $30/mo, I like their equipment but the staff suck
Anytime Fitness is $34/mo, open 24 hours

what do you mean the staff sucks. you go to the gym for the staff?
I have an LA Fitness pass, they're alright, they have good equipment and my gym is usually fairly clean. I do like it better than my uni gym for obvious reasons.

I used to go to LA Fitness and the staff were always rude, would often be missing from the front desk so I would just walk in without scanning. When they are there, they give off this feeling like it is so much work to scan my barcode.
I go to Anytime Fitness. It's pretty good, got almost everything I could need and usually empty when I go at midnight. When there are people there, everyone minds their own business so it's pretty good.

How are gyms so cheap in America? Over here I'm paying $15+ a week and that's considered a cheap deal
Aware me on 24 Hour Fitness
The one near me (Anaheim Hills location) is like 20 to 30 a month. They have a pool which is allegedly 24 hour - would that be manned at all times? Don't wanna swim at 1AM alone and have some psychopathic other member drown me or something like that

Just about everything is cheaper here

What country are you from?
My current gym that I am leaving, Crunch Fitness, is $10/mo with great equipment and friendly staff. Best all around gym I've ever gone to, I will miss it.
