But as a neet that is very inconsistent when it comes to going to the gym my leg press is by far much stronger than my squats.

I don't care how hueg this guy is. Leg press can never be even close to as good as squats otherwise I wouldn't have a much better leg press than squat. I don't even try training leg press stronger than squat. It's just that much better.

Is it that I have bad hip strength maybe? I don't max on squats but as of now I can at least do over 200. Leg press? I can probably do 6-8 plates each side for at least one rep.

Sorry anon but I'm not sure what you are getting at here. I only wanted to give an idea of where I am at since I always see that squats is one of if not the most important exercise to do.

To be honest I kind of do not like how the leg press sort of rounds your back a bit unless you angle yourself a bit. I usually try to just squat and skip leg press unless someone is on the squat rack or if I maybe took too many days off I do leg press to ease myself back into the routine again before squatting.
