I made the same amazing progress as you, man!!
It took me 2 long ass weeks after I started lifting but I was finally able to bench 90~ lbs!!

Seriously tho.
This is a feel but not the good type.

So I just got a part time job at a home depot.
Shits easy. Just move shit around with the little forklift or whatever its called and sometimes un/load heavy shit from it manually.

This has made me realise that my 5pl8 deadlift that I was so smug about is worth for absolute shit in the real world.

OK it's time to do some educating. I'm an engineering major at a top 200 school, so I think you'll have no trouble believing me when I inform you that your "40kg" lift was, in reality, only 20 kg.

"Why", you cry in baffled despair? Well, according to Newton's Third Law of Motion, when you lift the bar, the bar pushes on the plates with the force of its own weight. Therefore, the total weight you lifted was offset by a force equal to the weight of the bar, aka 20kg.
