First, don't wear short shorts, even if it's hot as fuck where you live. You need to assert that you're a male, and you'er excersising none the less. First off you're a pussy if you run with headphones so don't be that fag, and because I can guarantee you that most runners who are victimized were wearing headphones. It makes you a bullseye because you're so easily snuck up upon.

Also, run during the day. The poors tend to stay inside or mind their business when a white person is outside during the day, but if you're running at night you're open to heckling, assault, negroism.
