How do you prepare yours?
>>
>>39197549
curry.
>>
I grill my brown rice, steam my chicken and boil my broccoli for 40 minutes

get on my level
>>
I like chicken with mustard sauce, or chimichurri (a local stuff). Can't eat rice without some cheese though.
>>
>>39197549
I see this being eaten by everyone trying to lose/maintain weight. Are there any other simple combos that i can eat?
>>
I'm way into ostrich and goat now. Just blast the latter in the slow cooker and go to town on it after it's dead.
>>

air and memes
anxiety and depression

bleach and ammonia

here hope this helps :)
>>
>>39197612
We make chimichuri here in the states too fgt
>>
>>39197631
Don't forget a large non diet coke.
>>
>>39197670
So, some shit invented in Argieland isn't local there because some hipster in murrica (or argies living there, dunno) make it too?.
>>
I spray my chicken breast with pam and then dump some grill mates on it and bake it. I cook my rice in a rice cooker and fantasize about butter while I eat it plain. I fucking hate broccoli so I eat bagged salad. Wash it all down some tasty water and then cry myself to sleep.
>>
>>39197549
I make a stir fry, when I give a damn.

Throw in a little carrots, celery, ginger, garlic, onion, a bunch of broccoli and a shit ton of different herbs/spices. Maybe some hot sauce. Some roasted salted sunflower seeds and cashews too.

I like jasmine rice, I just put some in a pressure cooker for 5-10 min and man that is a good meal I can make in 20-40 minutes, with a lot of calories and very nutrient-dense.

This is definitely a "bulk" version. When I cut, everything except meat/fish/eggs is raw pretty much. Lots of salad. Makes me want to die a little.
>>
I cut my chicken and broccoli into little bite-sized pieces and then throw it in boiling water along with my brown rice. When it's all soft enough I blend it with chocolate whey powder and whole milk.
>>
zyzz was a fag that yall all want to be like
>>
I make a thick curry sauce out of madras curry powder, garlic, umami paste, corn starch and water and cook parboiled chicken chunks in it then eat it with seasoned rice and broccoli.

Why does no one here season their rice while it's being cooked
Like nigga just throw some curry garam masala in there, you will never eat white rice again
>>
>>39197583
And pay very high energy bills

Well if you can afford it
>>
>>39197549

If I'm trying to be 100% strict with my macros I bake the chicken, steam the broccoli, and cook the brown rice in a rice cooker. Otherwise, I might sauté the chicken and/or broccoli. This week I made a fried rice of sorts out of diced chicken and brown rice and put it over steamed broccoli.
>>
is it ok if i eat spinach instead of broccoli? trying to look like popeye
>>
>>39197862
white rice tastes great with salt and pepper 2bh
>>
>>39197862
like you, I thought most people put spices in while cooking the rice
>>
>>39197862
Man, in that stir fry I posted >>39197726

Its anything I can do to bring some kind of neutral-balance to the dish. Because its all too spicy at that point. I just dump it on a bed of jasmine rice, and it allows the flavors and intensity of the chicken to balance. And jasmine rice is the mustard rice of rices, I think.
>>
>>39197862
doesn't fit the macros
>>
>>39197862
Sometimes I toss a bullion cube in.

>>39197549
What's the appeal of CRB?

I'd have to make it Chickpeas Rice Broccoli but I'm still interested in a bulk-prep easy meal
>>
>>39197549
Chicken
> Crock Pot with honey and soy sauce all day while I'm at work
Broccoli
> 15 minutes at 350 in over with vegetable oil, salt, pepper
Brown Rice
> 15 minutes in rice cooker

Easiest + Best tasting way to prepare it

Will i ever make it brehs?
>>

>>
>>39198944
I don't think you're supposed to eat Tuna every day. It's got a lot of mercury in it.
>>
>>39197549
Dump a shitload of teriyaki sauce onto the chicken, throw it in the pan until it doesn't look pink, and put the broccoli and rice in the microwave.

Bake about 4 big chicken breasts with just salt and pepper (450f for 47 minutes covered in wet parchment paper), Nishiki rice in rice cooker, stream-fresh bag brocolli. Season however I like, including sauce since I leave room for it in my calories for the day.
>>
Can I replace chicken with TVP?
>>
>>39198944
Yea tuna has mercury. 3 times a week at most
>>
>>39199150
I imagine your chicken is drier than the Sahara. Try cooking at 350 F for 50 mins, no need for parchment

For potasium and vitamin C. But the acidity will kill your teeth. Though all vegies will. Keep in mind that micronutrients in broccoli are far better than those of tomato. Alternative to broccoli: brussels sprouts

Just made it.
Do you consider this clean bulk food?
>>
>>39199444
It's best that you add broccoli and keep tomatos. They're rich in potasium after all. Just brush your teeth 30 or better 60 min after a meal (to reduce loss of enmal). (Acid stuff like soda or viniger makes your teeth softer and they ware faster if you brush them right away)

Nope, they come out perfectly juicy and stay juicy when reheated after refrigeration. These are hefty (long/wide as well as thick) chicken breasts. I used to do it the 'normal' 350f way and this comes out much better, especially for reheating.
>>
>>39199784

Dolmades, one of my many weaknesses. Rice-stuffed vine leaves marinaded in olive oil and spices.

Fuck now my mouth is watering.
>>
>>39197549

I generally replace the brocoli with tomatoes or paprika

rice is cooked
chicken is baked in olive oil
paprika and tomatoes are either baked together with the chicken or eaten raw

I wonder, is eating Chicken, rice, and broccoli a good way to lose weight? I am starting out and along with some lifting I am giving this a try. Here is something I found and i am starting to follow, will I make it?
>>
>>39201940
Though apparently hull-less has much better texture and similar macros, pearled barley is more like brown rice.

Gonna buy me some hull-less barley.
>>
>>39197862
i "braise" it while raw with a lot of garlic and some onions, when its cooked it tastes perfect
>>
Season my chicken with a general all purpose spice. Then grill it.
Rice cooker my rice.
Throw some brocolli in a bowl and microwave it for a minute.

Combine, and eat

I don't have brocolli with mine.

I usually stir fry the brown rice with mixed veg and diced chicken breast, and soy sauce.

Chicken, roast 40 minutes @350 using a light spray of olive oil and whatever herbs I like, I vary them. Broccoli microwaved and then lemon juice + black pepper. No rice, I'm low carb. Make 4-6 prep bowls, freeze 2, leftover chicken breasts shredded for Mexican chicken or chicken salad.

You steam the chicken, great, but not the broccoli? I hope you drink the water you boil it in after it cools at least? By boiling instead of steaming your veggies you lose out on so many nutrients.

Put a frying pan on the heat.
Toss in your broccoli, no oil. Let the pan almost get up to smoking hot, don't move the broccoli until they've been at it for a couple of minutes, toss it around once, another couple of minutes and remove brocolli.
add a tiny bit of oil to the pan, actually get it smoking hot this time
toss your chicken in.

while that was all happening you were cooking your rice, weren't you?

could've seasoned whatever however you wanted as you went along, could always add whatever flavor you want at the end as well, a swig of soy or whatever.

If I were to have such a meal. Which I wouldn't.
Had the same recipe with red onion and avocado added, no carb base and steak instead of chicken. seasoned, added a bit of butter and lemon juice along with some garlic chips I flash-fried in the leftover steak fat just the other night.
