Bruised/sore shin from deadlifting

Ever since I tightened up my form on the deadlift (brian shaw has some really useful cues) my shins hurt like fucking mad if I deadlift regularly.
I don't even pull 3pl8 yet, but when i wear shorts, people ask me what happened to my shins (visible discoloration and bruising)

How do you fags deal with this?

Yeah I think as others are saying, step #1 would be that the bar never touches your shins.
I've had it scrape mine a couple times, it hurts and yeah it leaves a cut for a few/several days, also you can get blood on the bar.... hence I avoid it touching my shins...

That's not right, I understand bringing the bar to your shins to adjust your feet so the bar is straight, but as you being the lift, the bar should push out a bit so you can use you can activate your hams/glutes while lifting. If you're scraping your shins that badly while deadlifting, you're doing it wrong.

The shin scraping is new to me, as until a few training sessions ago, i was deadlifting wrong with my shoulder girdle over the bar.
Ever since watching a few videos where brian shaw gives deadlift tips and form cues, shin scraping has been an issue for me.

I basically drag up my shins during the lift and have good form on 3+ plates. Confused why yours look like that, looked super uneven. You aren't going straight up or your legs aren't angled right or you are banging into yourself. Whatever the case it's not right.

Rub chalk on your shins and it will glide smoother until your skin can handle it is my best advice. And check your form because it's almost certainly not right. You can drag along shins and not get anything like that shit in your pic.
