a highbar squat will work the quads more than a lowbar squat, without a doubt. assuming highbar is done in the standard olympuc style, lowbar in standard raw PL style.

draw your conclusions from that. think about it like this though. who will grow bigger quads? a guy who does some highbar squars every workout, or a guy who does some lowbar squats then a lot of dedicated quad work?

just because you squat lowbar doesnt mean you cant get big quads. so if you want to put up big numbrs in PL comp, and want big quads.. id reccomend a lowbar and extra quad work honestly, or highbar as an assistance move

When I watch OLY lifters like Klokov and Torkity do overhead press their elbows rotate backwards at the top of the rep. I've noticed this is extremely difficult to do. How can I increase my shoulder flexibility so I'm getting the full ROM out of my presses?

The elbow rotation is a consequence of them internally rotating their shoulders for the overhead position.

If you want to get a feel for that, stand with your feet under your hips, raise your arms to each side, perpendicular to your body. Focusing on your shoulders, rotate your whole arm forward such that the 'inside' of your elbow joint is pointing toward the ground; they don't need to be straight down, just turned in that direction. From there lift your arms upward, maintaining their rotation, until your hands are pointing up toward the sky.

I'm still learning (we're all always learning), but I generally know what I'm doing now. So I would recommend working with someone to start. Jerk is better than before,a lot more control and stability.
You shift your weight forward a bit in the dip and fall a bit forward in the jerk.
Your front knee passes the heel in the jerk.
This can be a) a result of you shifting too far forward( which you do) and b) your foot not going far enough fast enough.
For optimal stability your knee should be over or slightly behind your knee.
Practicing speed and positions with slightly less weight was what helped me with this.

So I tried the different things I was told to .
I widened my stance, which I think was good.
I widened my grip, it's now colar to close.
I feel like I do not have to move the bar such a long way(duh) but I also feel like i don't have the same Overhead stability as before.
I tried to retract my shoulderblades which really engaged my lats more.
And majorly I tried to stay over the bar as long as possible.
I felt like I now have to extend more than before and i was missing quite some snatches to the front in the bottom position.
Overall I can see where the changes make sense.
Am I doing something completely wrong or can I continue practicing with these cues.
Help is as always appreciated.

How is the Wei Rui VX3 Fury for oly lifting?
I bought one two years ago only to skwat and am now getting into them CnJs and snatches and am wondering if this is a good pair for both of those.

Also, can I expect to do decent without a coach? I cannot afford one for quite a bit, but I've been watching form videos/recording myself and comparing it to it a lot. Working on form a million times by cleaning the empty bar over and over again.

Your biceps are not the problem, Arnold Schwarzenegger could clean and jerk, your mobility is the problem. Plenty of people have one shoulder sitting higher than the other too. I do. Work on your shoulder, lat, tricep, and wrist mobility

Here is my back. You can tell my right shoulder sits lower than my left.

Another thing, when I do pull ups one of my arms pulls first due to this creating more imbalance. Would improved shoulder flexibility fix this also?

There is nothing visibly abnormal about your shoulder asymmetry. You are trying to assign a cause to your mobility issue. This isn't it. The problem is probably within your shoulder, and also maybe at your elbow.

Hold a barbell in the rack position and have a friend gently raise your elbows.

Stand holding a pvc pipe with clean grip. Mimic your elbow position in the rack, buy with the pipe held off your shoulders , raised til forearms are perpendicular to upper arms. From this position, try and touch your elbows together.

Stretch your bloated biceps, dummy.

While I can agree that you don't need to be elastigirl, getting only just flexible enough to get into the right positions isn't enough. You need to have a greater range of motion so that you can get into the correct positions quickly, without any resistance from your body.

Saying someone who is an inflexible beginner should just work on getting their mobility right so they can squat is fine to start with, but there has to be progression from there. Working towards a pancake or doing the splits is a good way to keep progressing your mobility
