Not really "grow out" as much as just lost interest after I moved out of my parents'. School paired up with real life made me drop it. Managed to find Cowboy Bebop the other day on sale so I bought that mofukka and binge watched it for old times sake

There are less and less interesting shows each season, I'm only watching 2 this time and I'm on the fence on both of them, Drifters and Fune wo Amu.

I tried to get into it in my 20's because everyone was saying it's the shit. Watched series like Elfen lied, Death note, WTNHK etc. but got irritated by one dimensional characters, random shit and everything being over exaggerated. Guess you need to grow up watching anime to be able to stomach the cliches.

Watching anime like it's any other TV and in moderation is fine. Spending every day all day watching anime and obsessing over a debacle like japan while jerking off to your 2d waifu and spending all your money on anime dolls is not.

Watched most of what came on Toonami as a kid, though never as much as those three.

Dabbled with Naruto as a pre-teen / teenager. Never too religiously.

Stopped watching anime pretty well all together until I was 17 or so.

Watched Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood beginning to end, absolutely loved it. Same for Attack on Titan.

Fell out for a few more years, until about a month ago when I started watching JoJo.

Halfway through Part 3 and I can't imagine how it can get any better.
