Back squats have never felt natural for me, I struggled for a long time, used lifting shoes, stretched etc, but the form never felt good. Recently I started alternating them with front squats, which feel amazing, I'm up to just over 90kg 3x5 with them. My question is I'll need to move to an intermediate routine soon, would it be ok to do front squats and not back squats, and maybe some hip thrusts as an accessory? Obviously I'm deadlocking and stuff as well, I just don't want to miss out on glute/ham gains (even though I feel front squats more in my glutes than back squats)

Obviously I'm not looking to compete, just get more athletic and stronger. Any thoughts?

If Candito linear U/L doesn't look well, either pick PHAT if you want to keep the lower body assistance while adding upper body lifts, or get rid of some of the lower body assistance (like in push/pull or press/squats+pull example). Stacking more shit on upper day isn't the solution.

It depends on how long he's been lifting for and if he's genuinely just stalled at those numbers. Sheiko himself said the class numbers are not fixed rules. So long as you have a max that isn't changing too often then using the percentage based programs is easier.

It's even possible to do a one month cycle such as #37, then do a skills test rather than wait the 2 months.
