So /fit/, it's my second year of uni, and once I graduate I plan to go military. What sort of training should I start doing now to excel. Also, general military fitness thread

Greasing the groove with pushups situps chinups/pullups and squats
Running.
That's basically all you need to do.
You want otter mode. Lots of running and bodyweight exercises. Your 1RMs mean jack shit in the military.
i thought this thread was about fit milfs
>>39142542
Anyway you could throw out an example program?
>>39142472
Well, what branch do you want to join? Figure out their requirements, and do greasing the groove for pushups and sit-ups. You should be able to breeze through anything that isn't special forces. If you're hoping to go for special forces, I can't help you, but make sure you at least meet the minimum requirements.

I though it was promoting milfs.
Ya know... "Milf it".
>>39142472
Fucking why? That shit is for kids getting out of high school who get tricked into joining because it's "badass".

Want to go three letter.

She has one of the best cores in the business (for someone who isn't some muscle fetish-specific porn star).
if you already lift and assuming you can do 15 pullups easy r-r-r-right, you do workout your back right? Only thing you need is 3 miles cardio
I think the trick is to join the military, and then go to college OP, not the other way around.

This.
Depends on what your unit will eventually do. Some meet at the gym and break up to do their own shit. Some do PT in a field and do pushups and sprints and crap. Some don't give a shit as long as you pass the test.
Luckily im a nurse and my fucked up shifts and life make organized PT impossible. I just go to the gym and run sometimes on my own.
But usually military makes you do calisthenics and the tests are all pushups and running and sit ups or maybe pull ups.

He's probably going officer, which requires a degree.
>>39142472
Look up the requirementstairs for a 290 or higher on the PTO test.
If you're going to be an officer you better not get shown up by an E-3.

Depends on the branch
Marine Corps and Army: do hikes with heavy (60+lb) packs. Body weight and running. Get used to standing all day and take care of your knees.
Navy: Im sure their OCS won't be as physically intensive as USMC and Army, but your job training afterwards (SEAL, SWCC, enlisted as Corpsmam) might be, so do it anyways.
Air Force: sit in office chair until failure
Strech anus x F atleast 4 times a day.
Disregard if your ASVAB is below 75

A lot of calisthenics (push ups, pull ups, chin ups, crunches, planks, etc.) and an obscenely vast amount of running.
Oh, and be sure to do a lot of hiking with a well packed backpack. If you're not used to carry much weight start with about 40 lbs of weight and go up from there. Make 3-7 day hiking trips with your pals or alone in the wild. Being on your own in the wilderness for a few days is as close as you get to being in the military.
