That's twice my bw so I guess it's not bad but it's becoming really hard to increase the weight.
My grip is really weak, even with chalk. I train it regularly but I barely see any progress, it's taking forever.

I pull lmao3pl8 for 3x4 but only squat 180, so you can feel good about that.
Anyone got some tips on adductor pain while going atg? It's only right before lockout, Is it just my glutes not activating properly, I do glute bridges and RDL with 2.5pl8 and my diddly is fine.

I hurt my back yesterday deadlifting

I have good form too idk what the problem is. It happens every time I try to max or push myself on DL.

How many sets and reps do you guys do on deadlift day?

130kg, fuck my stupid short t-rex arms.
>>
>>39128138
1x5, work my way up there fairly slowly (like 7 sets in total)

unless you compete there's no reason to ever try 1rm maxes, in almost every case your form will fail slightly and you risk injury

check Wendler's 5/3/1 pdf and 5/3/1 excel template for programming weight. You probably increase weight too quickly. You need patience. Adding a bit of weight consistently each workout without injury > adding a lot then being out of commission for x weeks due to injury
>>39127645
if it makes you feel better I can only squat 87kg

250kg at 116kg but it's just horrific form. So I'm working on that atm
>>
>>39127557
Today I deadlifted 100kg deadlift.

But before that I did 20 minutes of shadowboxing, 20 minutes of jump rope, had series of 40 doubles.

Then I did 40 jump squats, with a short break and 10 more. 50 sit-ups right after, legs hurt really bad when you do it like that. 50 back arches, 50 elbow to knee sit-ups. 40 push-ups followed by 10 push ups.

Then I did deadlifts.
>>
>>39129317

5'6" manlet, 145lbs BW.

My 1 RM on a deadlift is 365lbs. I know, manlet and all, won't ever learn, etc, but is that a decent lift, given my BW?
>>
I've been chasing that 4pl8 for quite some time. I hit 365 two weeks ago but I got pneumonia and then the flu so I haven't lifted since then

>>
I don't anymore. I hurt my back. Shit's not worth it. If I have to deadlift something I will do it sumo with a very vertical spine.

Single 405 conventional at 180. Could never really get into sumo but I suspect I could go for a bit more if I could

70kg 6x4
No idea of my 1RM since I've never really tested it, don't even know if I could since my hands give up so easy. Fuck, I even squat more than that
Since a lot of you are talking about this on here already I'm not gonna bother to put it in a QTDDTOT. So I'm a womanlet with ridiculously small hands and I can't ever grab the bar properly. Hook grip is useless since the rest of my fingers don't even cover my thumb. I only use chalk, no gloves. Should I just use straps? Give up deadlifts and do some bullshit machine exercice?
>>
>>39130750
Train forearms, farmer's walk, reverse curls. Or give in and use straps. Don't let grip stop you from training the other muscles from a DL but don't stop trying to train grip

>advice for pain while atg?

Yes, do not go ATG. Parallel is sufficient for strength training, and you'll only have more trouble as your squat increases if you keep doing this. Many people have hip anatomy that prevents keeping a neutral spine much past parallel. At 180 ATG might feel a little funky, but at 400 it makes a big difference.

About 115 kg (250 lbs) for reps. I was able to do 150 kg (330 lbs) ORM with shit form the other week. Probably a solid 2-3 months of consistent training and proper diet behind me.
>>
Just broke 405 the other week
>>
>>39135489
>shit form

it probably wasn't. I always have the feeling of doing shit form when testing for ORM but when I watch myself in the mirror is not that bad.

I think it's inevitable to lose a bit of form when going to the limit, but if you have trained properly for 2+ years your body should be accustomed enough to proper form as to not deviate much from it (and a small deviation feeling enormous, which is what probably we are feeling).
>>
>>39135514
Yeah I don't think it was catastrophically bad form, but it was at the point where the weak links become obvious. It was actually part of an assessment in which my coach filmed me. I was able to keep my spine relatively straight but I noticed from the video that my glutes were having trouble staying balanced, that is, one was a bit stronger than the other, which twisted me around.
>>
>>39127557
Today I did 275 3x5 so that's good. But my grip strength is really holding me back.
>>
>>39135441
1x5 with working weight

as in you your first set is 60kg, your next one 80kg, your next one 100kg, your next one 120kg, your next one 140kg, then you 160kg 1x5 which is your working set. Do the same with every compound although I do them 3x5 with working weight

Maxed out at 300 lbs / 140 kg for 5 reps. Never do 1 rep max because my back is a little crooked and I get injuries easily. I'm 6 ft / 1,83 cm and 165 lbs / 75 kilo, been lifting on and off for couple of years, but seriously for little over a year now. Also sumo ftw

150kg for 1rm @ 62kg, but my form broke down pretty badly. No hitching but I didn't have the straightest back, so I've just been doing lower weights until I feel confident again. My double overhand is nearly at 3pl8 which I'm pleased with.

I pulled 565 a few months ago. Took two months off and just started about a week ago. Pulled 435 but it was a fucking struggle.

You're not "stuck" on anything if you've only been lifting for 2 months, faggot. Don't even mention you lift till it's been a year. You're just waisting everyones time if you do.
