I made a big bowl of tuna salad for sandwiches to make quickly for my lunch.

For recipes I just go on Serious Eats and make something that looks good. I cook for myself use the full portions they recommend so I have lots of leftovers.

I make chinky stir fry.
Sautee veggies, 1 cup soy sauce, oyster sayce to taste, a bit of sugar, cornstarch to thicken. Taste good, low cal.

Chicken and plain white rice boiled with a couple of star anus pods. Toss in some some pretty good.

Make dumplings with cabbage tofu mushroom or whatever the fuck. You can even buy the wraps if you're too lazy to make your own dough. Pretty worth it honestly and super easy to tract macros since you know what is in each dumpling.

Sunday spit roast. Grab a big hunk of beef make sure it has decent fat around it. If not buy fat separately. Uber hot thick pan, sear on all sides. toss into a baking bowl thingy with some water carros onion mushroom whatever the fuck else. Apply heat until 'feels' ready. Some wine to deglaze for bonus points.

bake some chicken cut up and make salads.

If you're bulking then eat whatever the fuck you just don't go over 500 surplus.

100g of oats with 300-400ml milk + 1 whey shake for breakfast
4 slices of dark quality rye bread with peanutbutter for lunch
3 hardboiled eggs for snack
1 whey shake after workout
1 macro:meal mrp shake for dinner
70g of tuna or 2 chicken drumsticks for night snack.

allow me to introduce you to the slow cooker

throw in beans, throw in chicken thighs, throw in sauce of choice, cook for 10 hours
make steamed rice, pair that with the chicken/beans, open a bag of frozen veggies, and throw that on
carbs, protein, and veggies

bbq sauce for a a few days, hot sauce for the next few days, chili sauce, chicken salsa sauce, teriyaki, feel free to experiment with different sauces

is it great? that first non-microwaved meal, yes
is it alright? yeah

Meatballs:

>1 egg
>1/4 cup breadcrumbs
>salt/pepper

mix this shit together and form into balls

bake or fry them

Sauce:

>melt in pan
>3 tablespoons flour
>mix together with a whisk until it forms a paste
>pour in 2 cups of beef stock gradually
>pour in 1 cup of preferably heavycream or half and half if you're gay
>1 tsp dijon mustard
>1tbsp Worcestershire
>salt
>pepper to taste(I prefer alot)

Noodles:

mix the shit all together and you have you a nice dish

IMO its better if left overnight as opposed to eaten fresh

Load up on Black Bean Rotini, frozen veggie mixes like fajitas, mushroom medley (so good), or a stir fry, a protein like chicken, tuna, salmon and depending on what type of dish you can make it asian, italian, or mexican style. Great meal prepping.

Chicken is so fucking vile to me. I tried making 4 pounds of oven-baked chicken smothered in buffalo sauce to get me through the week, and just opening the fucking container and smelling the chicken makes me want to vomit. I'm trying to bulk and I have everything else for my daily diet set, I just need to find a way to make chicken taste even semi-good. It doesn't have to be great as long as I don't get that disgusting chicken smell when I open the lid of my containers. I eat a lot of tuna and sardines already, and I can't afford lots of beef.

Yes but the store near my house has sold me expired chicken like 6 times this year so I always force myself to smell every piece of chicken before I consume it to make sure it hasn't gone bad

my diet is going well. today, i ate:

1 can of saurkraut with 1 can of pickled beets for breakfast. that's 300 calories.

and i wasn't going to eat anything else but i was starving so i mixed 1 can of pinto beans with 1 can of hominy corn, and a small can of green chilis.

i was going to ate it all but said NO save some for breakfast. the entire bowl was about 550 calories and i ate probably 2/3rds or a half.

so i'm under 1000 calories today.

Yep just made this but with teriyaki sauce and olive oil. Awesome, awesome fucking meal, but it can get expensive. I used 5 bell peppers of various colors, 2 red onions, 1 lb. of chicken (I'll probably use 1.5 or 2 next time) some garlic seasoning and 3 tbsp of olive oil + 5 tbsp extra ginger teriyaki. Ended up being $25 at a HyVee and I damn near ate half of it tonight after my workout but it's a great meal to portion and stores well.
