We jump from planes onto land and water, mostly land but it's not very often we do jump.

Artillery Air Defender is pretty /fit/ too.

Other than that, Commando is the hardest. Has the highest fitness requirements and there's barely a time where you're not on your feet.

same merican here. What would you say initial fitness requirements for a unit like that be like? got a screenshot from someone from /fit/ or /k/ saying 100 pushups, 100 situps, and 20 pullups each in 2 minutes. Along with an 18 minute 3-mile, and proficient swimming ability.

also how often do you guys ruck and how heavy/how long?

Trying to join a reserve unit on jump status (airborne) in the states, and plan to commission later and aim for something high speed/special operations.
