What is a good cardio to do in the winter, doing winter-specific activities?
For example, in the summer I swim because I live beside a river but the river will be frozen in like 3 weeks.

Getting out in my driveway and shoveling the fucking snow son.
Real talk that shit is a full-on cardio workout. Even though we lived in a place that gets at most a few inches, my Dad would still make me shovel our driveway.

Chopping and hauling firewood.
Nothing makes you feel more awesome then carrying a large log around then chopping and stacking it.

Alright and what if you live in civilization where there aren't random trees to chop and driveways to shovel every other day?

I do privates at a ufc gym twice a week.
Just do rounds on the bags and shadow box if you don't have the cash.
I can't train for shit in groups but there's that option of course.

Came here to post this, assuming you have enough snow for it.
Makes for a decent hobby too if you like /out/ stuff. Nothing quite like going out skiing in the glaring winter sun.
Get your own, personal, at home spin bike. Plenty of cheap ones without electrics. Intensive cardio output.
