Tried to set incline at 1% but fucked it. What incline was set for my 5k? Inb4 I can walk faster, how fat are you etc.
arcsin( (163 feet) / (5 km)) * 180 / pi = .5693

So what % was the incline at, I don't want no mumbo jumbo.

no clue man, I dont know what a percent incline means. going up 1% of the distance you travel? then yeah, it's like .993%.
it's a .5693 degree climb though.

OK usually I set the incline on the treadmill to 1% which is a climb of about 49 metres. I had the screen covered and accidentally set higher so I'm not sure what it was set too. I thought some running nut would be able to work it out.

49 metres over 5km is about .995% of distance covered. So identical to what you have. You must've realised it was set higher basically immediately after it turned higher, or it was higher by an insignificant amount.

I'm fucking retarded m8 got confused someone set it to feet instead of metres.

ah, there we go. glad your question was solved!

>converting to degrees

>being smug over using radians
It's great if you actually do calculations with angles, degrees are more commonly understood however.

fair enough
