The body can't properly digest wood pulp (some studies suggest you actually can, but the FDA allows it to considered almost 0 calories) and artificial sweetners have zero calories but still sweeten the blood.
AKA, it's okay to use sparingly on a cut but don't rely on it.

frankly, even if it only vaguely resembled the taste of actual peanut, I would dive right in. 0 calorie sparkling water is more than enough for any soda cravings I've had in the last 11 years.
