Would yoga work? Everything I find online is just new agey bullshit or anti-yoga new agey bullshit that says it will give me cancer.
So, yoga, yes or no on being an okay supplemental relaxing activity 3-4 times a week?
There's also a hot yoga (as in Bikram yoga done in a hot room) studio that's free for students at my college, would that (Bikram yoga) be good to look into?
I've always wanted to try hot yoga cause I wanna smell all their rancid pusscracks

Some yoga poses are very good for stretching and practicing balance.
I do stretches, some yoga, and mobility bodyweight exercises once a week and I'm flexible enough to put my hands under my feet and sit my ass on the floor with my legs bent to my sides (feels awesome on the knees).
My advice is yes but only 1-2 times a week if you're lifting regularly and treat it as stretching exercise, not meditation/relaxation (that's the part for fags and hippies).

But to answer it, yeah, hot yoga is great for increasing flexibility, meaning less injury, and as long as you don't get dehydrated like a retard you'll benefit a lot from the shit being dumped out by your sweat.
It's easy to injure yourself though if you don't follow instructions, so don't go all chad rambo and over-extend everything or else you'll be crippled for a few weeks

Not looking for full blown medititation, more of just something methodical that isn't as intense as lifting or distance running, but is still providing benefits
Is there a lot of risk upping that from 2 times a week?
And what's your opinion on hot yoga?

Yoga will do wonders for your flexibility and mobility

What's the SS of yoga?

If you have time and motivation you could do it every day I guess, I just do it once a week cause I consider that rest day. Stretching tears your muscle fiber somewhat so I don't know how obsessive stretching will affect recovery/gains on lifting days.
TLDR: YMMV, do what works for you.
As for hot yoga I've never tried it. Heat does help relax your muscles, and may make stretching them easier BUT it also makes you sweat out a lot of water weight which sounds like a good way to trick women into paying to stretch in a hot room.

I too would like to know this.
30 days of yoga with adrian is the best I could find for something free on the internet, otherwise, go to an actual class with an instructor that can help you.

Try the 30 day yoga challenge, it starts easy http://www.doyouyoga.com/course/the-30-day-yoga-challenge/
or if you wanna smash straight in try this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iN-FPh7r1yg
Hot yoga is really good, but I wouldn't go straight in with it unless you have done yoga before as it's pretty intense.
I started off doing 10 minutes every morning when I get out of bed and go from there.

do yoga or try stillness meditation or look up progressive relaxation.
I Pavlovian/classically conditioned myself to relax when I exhale, works pretty gud and yoga is a good supplement to lifting
