So youre saying after fasting for a while your body starts burning muscle? Do you mean after using a fasting fiet for 1-2 weeks or do you mean on a much smaller scale like daily. I use IF to cut and usually supplement small protein source at the beginning of my day to help the body target fat stores first before burning muscle stores. Explain im interested

Fast for 12-48 hours and eat a single meal a day or two small meals per day containing fats/carbs/proteins. Drink milk and keep caloric intake around 50% of TDEE.

If my broscience is correct you'll enter a fat burning mode during the night but leave that state at some point during an extended 12+ hour period in order to not cannibalize all fat reserves. You need to eat something during that period to reset
