i've been hitting the gym seriously for 2 years, since my first 2 years basically was me being un-experienced lifting once a week using machines.

But within those two years:

I was a wrestler in high school and for a stint in college but I absolutely destroyed my labrum after ~50 dislocations (thats actually the reason I don't wrestle anymore).

No one taught me (or I never tried to learn) how to bench properly so I flared hard and put all the weight on my shoulders.

My pecs and tris are so underdeveloped comparatively, its not even funny.

You're wrong. Sumo is easier for some people, harder for others. Loose general rule: The more you're built to squat rather than deadlift, the easier sumo is relative to conventional. If you're built to deadlift and suck at squatting, odds are your sumo sucks too.

There's exceptions, but it generally works that way.
