How did you cure your acne /fit/ ?

Mine cures itself every summer with sun and salt water. I honestly don't know how this isn't common knowledge.

Yes I had it on my face bad as a kid but when it moved to the bacne that is all I do to manage it.

I have rosacea real bad so I was forced to go see my gp. The cure also cures pimples so they disappeared too and it's so great.

It can be embarrassing to see your gp over something acne that but it's honestly life changing and not hard at all.

I haven't cured it, but it's much better. Wash face twice a day and end with face in a bowl of ice water for a couple minutes. Then I'll put some vitamin e oil on my skin where it's dry.

Diet, age, and managing stress.

Cut out dairy and red meats, drink more water and wash your face. I think /fa/ has a sticky on mens hygienic routines.

I recently had a problem with cystic acne -- the kind of acne that is deep in the skin and often doesn't form a head.

The product that worked surprisingly well for this was Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion.

It comes in a tiny fucking bottle which initially makes you think you got ripped off, but you only use a few drops at a time, and that tiny bottle ends up lasting longer than you'd think.

If you notice cystic acne forming and apply this lotion early, it does an amazing job of making the swelling go down.

I grew up

I had pretty bad acne on my chest and up until I was 24. A diet of mainly raw meat cured it in a couple of months. Stuck to the diet for almost six years. It was socially crippling eating like that, but i decided that the acne would be even more crippling. Eating like that made me feel really good in general as well, and when i got ripped people seemed to look at it as more of a curiosity than me beeing a total freak. Now I'm 31 and can eat regular food without acne outbreaks.
I miss eating raw meat and being ripped though. :(
