Barbell Rows
T-Bar Rows
Dumbell Rows
Seated Rows
Lat Pulldowns
Various pull-machines
In whatever combination you want with whatever variations you want or do them all. Learn what works for you (and you don't need to wait years to see the exact results for that, I mean learn what maximizes your training sessions Vs. recovery, etc.)
Except for the pull-ups and rows which I would recommend always doing and not mixing up to much.

Proper lat activation exercise is very unintuitive. Watch Athlean x's vid on how to use them correctly because it's easy to get wrong without proper coaching.
