Thats part of life for me, and if somebody told me you have to live vegan for ever now (I know you are not advocating veganism but just as an example) but you will get to be 100 years old or you can eat this fat steak wrapped in bacon with french fries now and die after you finished it I would just order the mayonaise for the french fries before I go for my last meal.

I am not advocating eating junk food all the time but to me its not worth all the effort, but I respect if you decide to live that way.

I don't eat like this all day and i do enjoy my food from time to other.
I guess what works best for me is a balance between the two extremes - not eating like this every day of every week but not eating too much of the greasy tasty stuff either.
But that's what it's about anyways right? Just figuring out what works for you.
In the end if you just take care of how many calories you get and you get enough protein etc etc you don't have to ditch your favourite foods for the body you want.

Is it physically possible to reach respectable muscle as a non-fat male without counting calories and measuring macronutrients? Is a healthy home-cooked diet though with an abundance of carbs conducive to gaining muscle?
75kg(165lb for lards) 6'4 and in no risk of getting fat, is serious diet calculating necessary for simple gradual strength gain, or for the dedicated and hardcore? Not looking to bulk or explode with fit yet, but maybe in future.

Sometimes I have the suspicion that it is possible that fat is turned into muscle mass.

2 years ago I did a 30 day fast, which means 0,0 kalories /day for a month except like 10 kalories a day from cola zero and stuff like this and a vegetable soup where I removed the vegetables from after cooking, just drinking the liquid for the vitamines.

And during that fast I was able to put on weights, and to have more mass after it.

Hey guys I need an advice.
They are sending me outside town everyday for work and it's really fucking up my life and my gym schedule.

I usually eat at the cafeteria at dinner but I don't really know what to do if I want to make to the gym and eat healthly I've to prepare some quick snack and launch on sunday since I wake at 6.30 am and return home at 8 pm every fucking day.

Here's what my wife cooked for dinner the other night. Chicken, shrimp, brown rice, mushrooms with turkey bacon, and citrus asparagus. 450 calories (I'm cutting on 1,500 calories). When I started my cut, I gave her a piece of paper with my dinner macros/calories written on it, and every evening when I come home from work, she has prepared something new and tasty that meets my requirements (she weighs the ingredients and everything). Italian chicken wraps with broccoli, cheeseburgers with mashed potatoes and green beans, baked fish with mixed veggies, homemade flatbread pizza, pork tenderloin with corn and black beans, etc. I'm a lucky guy.

My girlfriend lifts. She does turkey, broccoli and other shit, and cooks like 6 meals in one go. Puts them in tupperware for the next few days.

Is that what you guys do? I cooked us dinner by making what she usually eats and sauteeing it up real nice, not what she's used to because she doesn't cook. Loved it, but now I have extra turkey breast in the freezer now.

I want to try to start eating better like she does, so I figure Ill cook it up tomorrow. Is rice hard to cook in a pan?

Can I just make a fuckload of rice, broccoli, turkey and be good? I can cook like a motherfucker so it won't be hard for me to make it taste great. To put this in perspective, I typically eat the .89 cent Maruchan yakisoba noodles for lunch. Its like 495 calories and fills me up for about 4 hours. Is the aforementioned combo comparable?

same situation here bro, leaving the house at 4 in the afternoon and returning at 7 in the morning though... Training Mma everyday plus night shift at Mercedes factory.

I just prepare a huge bowl of oats with bananas, milk, protein powder and peanutbutter when i come home from work and let it soak overnight. I eat half for breakfast, the other half during the day. easy 2000 kcal.

Then when i come home from work, i also leave out a frozen dish that i prepared on sunday to thaw out over night. Can be warmed up in microwave, doesnt need to. Another 1500 kcal.

The key to managing this shit is doing your groceries for the whole week on saturday/friday, and then cooking for the whole week during the weekend. You dont have time for dat shit under week, so you gotta take care of it on the weekend ok?
Cook yourself five big, healthy nutritious and tasty meals of meat/fish/seafood, some kind of carbs and vegetables. Pack them in Tupperware and freeze 4 of them. One in the fridge for Monday. Also buy 7-15 pieces of fruit, for snacks.

So you'll leave the house with one tupperware box containing your dinner, another one with shitloads of oats with banana milk and peanut butter, 1 or 2 peices of fruit and some flatware to eat it. Possibly a protein shake too.

Takes you less than 10 minutes to prepare/clean the whole food that you will eat in a day, and it will be very good food for lifting, if you prepare it on the weekend. Whenever im too lazy to do it on the weekend, i hate myself for it the whole next week, because im spending absurd amounts of money on unhealthy shitty food while on the get-go. Fucking train station prices man.

I just steam some veggies and fry or bake a different meat every night. It's boring, but the selection of meat (and the occasional replacing veggies with rice or pasta) helps keep it mixed up.

i can't stand cukes or red onion in sandwiches. lettuce+tomato is fine with tuna, some cos would fit a treat on that bread. could also have it like a potato salad, but taters ain't great. consider peppers, love me some peppers.
