Is it possible to make gains only lifting 2 days/week? This would be the routine, advertised as a minimalist power routine:
Lower Day:
Squat
Lunges
Deadlift
Leg Raises
Upper Day:
Bench
OHP
Rows
Pullups
Curls

if you are only going to lift 2 days a week, doing an upper lower is not the way to go
do an upper body and lower body lift each day
A
Bench
Squat
accessories
B
OHP or Bench
Deadlift
accessories
do full body both days
not sure why you wouldnt just go 3 days a wekk and do full body

no thats wrong
not 4 days a week ULXULX
2 days thats just ULXXXXX
>>39013895
I understood what you said
ULxxxxx is stupid
do AxxxBxx where A and B include both an upper and lower exercise

I won't have the time the next few months. Besides, I'm not looking to get really jacked, I just want a respectable level of strength.

do full body both days then

Agreed, with only two days I'd do upper and lower compounds each day.
I think this routine is good. For accessories, add-in dips, pull-ups, rows.

I'd go full body x2 if I was only doing shit 2 times a week. Unless you're roiding, protein synthesis only lasts 1-2 days.

I'd be roughly pulling something like this
A:
Squat
OHP
Rows
B:
Deads
Bench
Chins
Ontop of which I'd add whatever your preferred beach-muscle type workouts were. I'd also consider the value of training some at home calisthenics, including but not limited to
Pushup variations (including handstand and planche progressions for uberdelts)
Pistols
A chinup bar if possible, for more chins obviously
4 way neck exercises (adequate resistance can be provided via a towel and your hands)
