110 complete miss didn't even try when I got to the chest. I think I've got a psychological issue where if I grind out a rep, I just don't see myself doing anything heavier even its only slightly heavier. I'm alright with 175/105 though

Question is now, on my last training cycle I trained with maxes of 180 and 110 but I didn't hit either of those today but it felt easy during the cycle to use those so, do I keep those maxes for the next cycle or increase a bit or go to my actual maxes?

Depends on your leverages. For some it's harder, for others easier.
Sumo does decrease the ROM but people will still be more comfortable and pull more weight conventional. Try it out

So I have been doing the following for the last month:
Morning - squats and bench, 95-100+% 1RM, 3x3 back off sets, then either power cleans with the same set/rep scheme or snatch grip 3x5 or regular deadlifts 2x4-5
Evening - handstand pushups @ 225+lbs bodyweight @ gf chinups to failure, gf planks to failure, weighted crunches or someshit

I repeat this crap every other day and see pretty linear gains at 2-10 kg a week for bench, squat and deathlift (mfw microplaets). 140 -> 152.5 bench, 155 -> 170 squat, 160x5 -> 180x5 deathlifts. I know my squat and dadlifts are weak, but my bench is decent and it seems to be progressing fine. How long will the easy gains last?

I know form breaks down at maximal loads, but I'd take a focus on making sure your shoulders and chest rise WITH your hips. If your 80% plus squat reps look like that, then squatting will be a bit tough for you. When your hips shoot up quickly by themselves like that, it puts a lot of stress on the lower back to straighten your torso. Not to mention you might lose the weight forward someday. All this can be disregarded if the majority of your reps don't have this issue though. But I just thought I'd say something because I had this problem very badly on my heavier loads and it really made squatting difficult for me. I fixed it by lowering the weight a lot and building my form again from scratch.

First comp not trying to fill out the weightclass. Just want to put together some minor PBs on everything and not get injured so you might still outbench me on the way up haha.

But I'll be a 105 from here on out. I took some measurements after my last comp and just took some more this morning to compare

Chest 45" - 48"
Waist 31" - 33"
Arms 15.5" - 16"
Quads 24" - 26"
Calves 17" - 17" (thank fuck)

So I'm definitely making some gains. Hoping to be more competitive in the 105s. Or at least have a better chance at 400+ Wilks. Would have had it at 93 with all my PBs in one comp but gotta play the long game.

No but it means less. Couple it with the relatively light weight and purely isometric contraction and power cleans are really, really fucking inefficient muscle builders. They're for weightlifters only. All others need not apply.

The weights literally doesn't matter unless you're peaking for a meet and need to gain confidence with loads near the 1RM. What matters is how much stress you put on the body to force strength adaptions. With lower loads, you can 1) do more total repetitions with heavy enough weights, 2) ensure good quality on those reps and also 3) make changes in your form if needed. If you struggle with weights over 90% to often you're going to revert to the form you're strongest in right now even if it's not optimal long-term for your development.

As a guy that did Texas method on a cut, it's doable however you literally will feel like bubba is raping your ass the closer you get to that 15% bfat. Very strongly recommend you start counting your macros and playing around with carbs.
This is presuming you're strong enough and not some guy that can just squat 140 or something.

My diet for the past couple of weeks has been almost exclusively eggs and rice, so I'm pretty sure I can just use more egg and less rice per meal. Lifts are 345 skwat, 275 bench, and 475 dl for reference.

Sheiko skills test coming up soon, but I've been cutting and I know no gains were made on bench/squat. I think I might still test deadlift, though.

I was pretty fat (kinda went on a dreamer bulk for 8-10 months was determined to hit 200 kg squat hit it at 23-25% bfat ) so first 4-6 weeks I felt fine and just made my usual progress, afterwards stalling here and there and then at the end of the cut (week 13-14) my bench and ohp started going down slightly.

It was a decent cut in that maintained my squat DL strength and actually saw abs so bfat lost.
It was shit in that with the amount of volume in TM I pretty much started acting moody, my sleep started getting fucked (would wake up after 4 hours and can't go back to sleep) and having a constant feeling of the flu just all around fatigue basically.

Never done Sheiko since TM has been working for me for last year and half so didn't change it.
What does it call for?
