Keto is useful for taking off water weight, but that's only useful if you're a competing body builder or an athlete in a sport with weight divisions. It kills your endurance because no glycogen.
>>
powerlifting is a meme

>>38971874
Keto is great if you're a fatass. That's why it has positive reviews. Fat fucks with a tdee of 4000 find they can't cram 30 pieces of bacon into their mouth holes then scream "omg carbs are evil".

When you jerk it you get a depressant hormone spike. Dunno why. Probably some evolutionary bunk to keep you from fucking your balls dry and thus slightly reducing your likelihood to successfully reproduce. As long as there's like an hour gap between jerking it and lifting it probably wouldn't matter. But what kind of fag doesn't just jerk it before going to bed?
>>
>>38971420
was 116, cut down to 76 in 3 months with keto. Did it's job. People just made a circus out if it.
if you are epyleptic, you can use it
if you are heavy and you want to lose weight fast it works (watch that skin)
if you have food related body disorders (acne and shit whatnot, hydradentitis suppulativa etc) you can go on keto limiting yourself to low variety of food (dont forget fiber) and then if the body has started to feel better you can slowly add food back one by one and see if body reacts.

so dont shit on keto, it is a good tool.

I go away for a week at a time. My gf loves when I come back fully loaded.

Ketogenic diet prevents seizures and is used in kids they can't medicate.

Switching routines at random totally makes you stronger even if the switched exercises target the exact same groups the previous one did.

The pain you get the day after is totally because it works, it's definitely not because DOMS happens every time you do a new exercise, regardless of its effectiveness.

Same. I usually lie awake for hours crying and thinking of every way I have irreparably ruined every chance of a remotely happy life, but if I fap I just crumble on my bed and sleep without a thought during the afterglow.
>>
>>38972482
I used to do this daily.

I pretty much can't sleep without fapping first. The only ways I can without fapping is if I am drunk, stoned, or cuddling on a girl.
>>

how is that a myth?
>>
>>38970398
>cardio kills all gains
>you should always do a break day inbetween all workout days
>>
>caffeine counteracts the effects of creatine

I still don't truly believe this is a myth. People debate it all the time, but the guys saying that this isn't true always just seem like they're basing their whole argument on anecdotal evidence and wishful thinking. It apparently doesn't matter that there have been multiple studies indicating that caffeine negates the effects of creatine. Those studies are always regarded as poorly done, and yet no one has published a "good" study that can put the debate to rest. Until I read something conclusive and convincing that tells me that caffeine and creatine play well together, I'll continue my caffeine-free diet while supplementing with creatine.
>>
>>38975710
there's really no point in using caffeine anyway outside of really important shit

>Keto works guys! It totally maintains muscle mass despite the fact your muscles are getting no sugar!
>>
>>38975607
Because a wider grip decreases lats ROM and forces you to recruit smaller muscles to do the work. Not to say that wide grip is useless, but if you want to really focus on your lats you have to go close grip (as in hands touching)

Because you can get wide lats without ever doing wide-grip pullups.
>>
>>38971912
It exists and it takes longer to achieve than myofibrillar hypertrophy, at least for a beginner.
You're basically trading strength, for gains and more time required to build the same amount of muscle.
>>
>>38979954
It exists, but that name is a misnomer. Glycogen stored locally due to body building routines being endurance related require four molecules of water for every molecule of glycogen. And water is a large molecule.

Sarcoplasm is the fluid in muscle cells and increases in proportion with myifibril growth. But, the word has stuck with us from the days when we didn't understand the biology well.
>>
>>38980031
According to a doctor in muscle biology I saw recently, it doesn't exist. What is your evidence for saying it does exist, albeit under a different name?
>>
>>38979954
>>38980137
I would also like to see some sources. I've done some searching and the best I could find was studies like http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1113/jphysiol.2008.164087/full describing increase in myofibrillar or sarcoplasmic protein, but that's not really the same as proving it contributes noticeably to muscle size.
