I knew I shouldn't trust you when you told me to get a starter one of 80lbs or something if I never owned a gripper before.
Just got my 150lbs in the mail and I can easily do 50+ reps (full reps, touching them together) from just regular lifting. Glad I ordered a set of 3 so a 200 and a 250 are also included. And yes I know you're supposed to squeeze and hold.
This a masturbation health thread?

I have a 100, 150, 200 and 250 at home.
The 250 I struggle to even get one rep out of most times.
When do I stop being a wristlet?
Just be a musician plebs
>>38965072
yeah I just tried the 250 and that is damn stiff. will be a decent challenge to get to a point where that is easy.
Just include farmer's walk in you routine and you won't need that shit
>>38965052
I got the number 1, how often should i use it and how many sets?
Aren't you supposed to close and hold? Not just reps.
>>38965209
yeah that's what people on /fit/ have been saying. I just tried it out since I just got it and number of reps is a more descriptive measurement.

static and crush grip are different things
grippers are a waste of time for holding on to heavy deadlifts and vice versa, holding onto heavy deads will not give you great crush grip
>>38965956
that's why you squeeze and hold
>>38965052
btw these things seem pretty high quality based on one day of playing around and are 1/3 the price of CoC https://www.amazon.co.uk/Heavy-Grips-Mens-Hand-Grippers/dp/B00B1U9YSW
>>38965956
Yeah I humbled myself with a couple of these. I can deadlift 455 for reps and I can't even close the CoC 1.5 (~150 lbs IIRC)
>>38968172
what the fuck. double overhand? I diddle less than that and have no problem closing 150 for what seems like endless reps
>>38968953
Nah, mixed, I stupidly assumed it would improve grip strength. I can do maybe 315 double overhand
>>38969140
You're an idiot
>>38969140
yeah ok 3pl8 is where my grip strenght starts to fail double overhand too. you should be able to close the cock though idk what's wrong with your hands
