Difference is negligible.

Muscle loss from morning cardio is also almost non existent unless you're already at a severe deficit and if you are you obviously want to do cardio on an empty stomach.

The real question is are you doing it for fat loss or to increase endurance. Endurance goes up faster when you bulk as well.

If you're after muscle gain and endurance gains, eat. Minimizing fat gain on a bulk or fat loss? Don't eat.

Even on an empty stomach you'll build endurance. It's really just preference.
