Do you honestly think there's a significant portion of the population that can deadlift over 500 pounds? Hell, I'm one of the stronger guys at my gym and I can only get 405 for 3 and I've been training for 10 years. I'm not saying I'm impressive at all, I'm just saying I've been around and anyone pulling 500 for reps, and Jason got 7-8 a few months back, is a pretty impressive lifter. Anyone who says otherwise is either surrounded by powerlifters or doesn't at all and thinks everyone on /fit/ isn't e-statting.

That being said, Jason is far from world class, and he should be if he's going to talk as much shit as he does. All I'm saying is he is a pretty strong dude, and definitely stronger than 99% of /fit/

Jason is a fucking loser who has never achieved anything of note in either powerlifting or bodybuilding, there are a number of young natties in /plg/ who out lift/out wilks him by far and those people are not even exceptional. His claims that anyone at a high level in drug free powerlifting are secretly on are false and are an easy way for him to excuse his pathetic physique and lifts despite decades of drug use. I'd even go so far as to say that a 700 deadlift a 600 squat and a bench somewhere between 400 and 500 with a press of 300 is perfectly achievable by any genetically average man with no serious pathologies IF HE REALLY WANTS IT. Most just simply don't want to/can't afford to put that much time into training.
