No for so many goddamn reasons.

For one, it would change the entire function of our biological systems to the point where we'd no long be humans as a species.

And two, even if we were able to make such drastic changes to physiology, there would still be a way to kill us since we'd just focus research on developing weapons that would kill us despite our new strengths.

That's not really how evolution works.

The human population is too big and connected for any real significant genetic changes to occur. There's not really much selection pressure on us.

I suppose in theory you could isolate a population and selectively breed for impact resistance but it would take a long time and it's pretty stupid.
