Cheat day or no cheat day?
I'm on a calorie defecit trying to lose 15-20 lbs or so by new year. I'll still be working out on 'cheat days'. thoughts?

how much have you already lost?
How long has it been since your last cheat day?
Your "cheat day" should be eating whatever shitty food you like but keeping your calories around maintenance and still getting decent protein.

5 lbs in the past 2 weeks when I started

Cheat days are for the weak. Just think about how shitty it would feel to do all that work and not lose any weight

I've not had a cheat day but I've only been cutting for 2 weeks

well, i would then say gj anon keep up the good work, and try to down scale it to one cheat meal instead of a whole day.
preferably eat your cheat meal at night just before bed, that way theres less of a chance of you fucking up the rest of the day, also gives you a goal for the day

good idea to have it at the end of the day, I think I'll do that thanks

Yep had a cheat meal of ramen. Only do it once a week
But now I'm wondering why, it wasn't even that great.
The more u covet it the more it grows. Just don't dwell on it

If you cheat you open the door to cheat more often. Have a little fucking willpower and look back at what you have achieved every day instead of looking forward. Let your progress motivate you instead of some abstraction you can't visualize in your head because it hasn't happened yet. I've cut on keto for 7 months without cheating. You can manage a babby defecit for a few months unless you're the biggest faggot to ever live.
